About
Hi there, and welcome!
I’m Nathan Rose, and I write about technology, creativity, and strategy.
On this page, you can read about who I am and my journey so far.

For media purposes, you can download a high-res photo here.
I am originally from Wellington, New Zealand. There, I began my career in investment banking.
However, over time I became more and more fascinated by the idea of location-independent entrepreneurship, and how it provides the opportunity to live and work from anywhere in the world.
In 2014, I took the leap and quit my corporate job, packed my bags, and started travelling while working online. I have been immersed in the digital marketing space ever since.
I started this blog to share what I have learned along the way. You can read about what I’m currently working on by clicking here.
As an author, I am particularly fascinated by how the Internet is changing the way we work and live – hence my strong interest in crowdfunding, cryptocurrency, and self-publishing. All of my books are listed here.
I have been featured everywhere from Inc. Magazine to The Social Pros Podcast to The Scope Weekly. You can find links to the media publications I have appeared in by clicking here.
I also have a love of strategy board games – particularly the traditional ones such as chess and xiangqi.
Work With Me

Crowdfunding Consulting
As the author of the two bestselling books Equity Crowdfunding and Rewards Crowdfunding, I offer one-on-one crowdfunding strategy consultations for ambitious creators to help get their project off the ground.
This is a great way to get the answers on any aspect of crowdfunding – sourced from the experience of dozens of leading agencies and campaigns.
You can’t afford to learn crowdfunding through trial and error. Get your campaign right – first time.

Non-Fiction Writing Coaching
I help non-fiction authors create timeless, influential books which reach their readers – without the stress and uncertainty that new authors often feel.
Through writing my own books, I have come to believe that there is a method to bestselling non-fiction. From outlining, to research, to cover design, to editing, to promotion.
By working with me, I can guide you through this method – step-by-step.

Speaking
I have a strong interest in the Internet-enabled new economy, and how it changes the way we do things.
Popular keynote topics include:
• self-publishing non-fiction
• the impact of remote work
• crowdfunding techniques for startups and creators
Having me present at your next event will leave your audience feeling informed, entertained, and inspired.
